Sports Day

Well, it's spring time. There flowers, warmer weather, and everything; so we had a nice day where our school forced a bunch of little kindergarteners to do some sports related activites. To do this, we headed to a fortress in a nearby town, Haemi. It's basically this giant stone wall, but it's very scenic:

Once inside, we were greated with large, open, green fields where the 'sports' happened. This is a really awesome tree that was inside:

I didn't include a lot of photos of the kids engaged in physical activity, but there is a video. I decided to put in photos of the kids making cute faces. This girl is easily one of my favorite kindergarteners, Karen:

All of the kids had to form into lines in order to do some stretching. During this part they were stretching out their necks, but Sean decided it wasn't for him:

The 'sports' included tug-o-war, hula hoops, an obstacle course, and some jump roping. My favorite part was probably the tug-o-war (is that how you spell it?) because it was a bunch of tiny kids falling all over each other:

Now I just have a few pictures of the kids, so enjoy. This is Jasmine, she is one of the most mischievous little girls ever:

This is Antony. He is completely adorable, but he can't speak even a word of English after three months there. I liked him because when he first got there I had to show him how to hold a pencil. He's really handsome, too:

This is a goofy looking little kid named Willy who kept making faces while taking a class photo:

So after that we had a nice lunch. There were some musical performances going on in the fortress. My boss told me that the people are apparently from Pyong Yang, North Korea, so that was pretty cool.
